Definition
A song is a composition of lyrics, short poem that is set to
music and meant to be sung.
Communicative Purpose
To entertain the listeners and also as media to express
feelings. Songs also teach the listeners moral values that are hidden in the
lyrics.

· Verse is the
main part of a song that tells a story
· Refrain/Chorus
is a part of song that is repeated. The rhythm of this part is distinct from
the verse.
· Coda is a line
that closes a song
